SOS Children’s Villages celebrated the 35th anniversary of commencing operations in Sri Lanka presenting the first Balloon Carnival in Sri Lanka. Balloon Carnival took place on the 10th of September 2016 at the Galle Face Green, Colombo. Carnival started with the arrival of the SOS Ambassadors, Mr. Roshan Mahanama and Ms. Pooja Umashankar at 5pm along with the world famous cricketers such as Muttiah Muralitharan, Kumar Dharmasena, Chaminda Vaas, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Upul Chandana and Farveez Maharoof.
